Giant Tigers Prediction – Will the Giants Continue Their Winning Streak Against the Tigers?

The San Francisco Giants have been on a tear lately, winning eight of their last ten games. They’ll look to continue their winning ways against the Detroit Tigers, who they’ll be facing off against tonight. The Tigers have struggled as of late, losing four of their last six games. However, they are still a dangerous team and should not be taken lightly. Here’s a look at tonight’s matchup and our Giant Tigers Prediction for who will come out victorious.

The Giants will be sending ace Madison Bumgarner to the mound tonight. Bumgarner has been pitching lights out lately, giving up only two runs in his last 26 innings pitched. He’ll be going up against Tigers’ starter Anibal Sanchez. Sanchez has been solid this season, posting a 3.38 ERA. However, he has struggledAgainst the Giants in his career, going 1-4 with a 5.82 ERA in seven starts

The Giants offense has also been clicking on all cylinders as of late. They’ve scored an average of five runs per game during their current winning streak. Buster Posey has been leading the charge, hitting .333 with three home runs and 12 RBIs in his last ten games. The Tigers will need to get some production from their offense if they want to keep up with the high-powered Giants offense. Unfortunately for them, they’ve been struggling offensively as of late, scoring only 3.5 runs per game in their last six games
